It's usually funny when a character suffers something ridiculous, but I noticed Spike's troubles were usually too relatable to be amusing. And over time, by extension, I stopped finding it funny when he gets physically abused. Even if it's a redub like FiW and not even canon.

for a second I thought he had a keyblade and was trying to figure out why this was titled sleepover "birth by sleep reference? or maybe hey got so pissed of by the gossiping giggling and the last straw being used as a makeover dummy that it unlocked his Heart of Darkness summoning a keyblade so he could lay waste to them and escape that girly froufrou hell"
