Rest in peace Beamish, my little boy. You have stuck with me for 11 and a half years, and what an amazing 11 and a half years it was.It's such a shame that you had to leave us, and have the problems you did, but I'm happy you're at ease now.
It isn't fair that after such a long and energy filled life, your liver and kidneys gave up on you. It wasn't fair to let you suffer any longer,
and at least we were by your side until the very last second.
It has only been about 2 hours, and I miss you already. Sleep well my boy, I love you.

Wow....this is really sad....
Yet this is more worse than my appendix surgery in December....I had to suffer through all of that pain...
When I first had the IV needle in me, I screamed at the top of my lungs in agony, it was that bad, Seriously, Death is more worse than agonizing pain in a hospital.
And also how I got the appendix surgery is that it ruptured...It was painful and I couldn't use the bathroom...
I think this story is more sadder than mine.

I'm ever so sorry for your loss; it kinda makes me think of when my guinea pig died just a few days short of Christmas last year. He lived just over 6 years (which is pretty impressive for a guinea pig) and I'd owned him since roughly the end of 2010.
Needless to say, I do feel most sorry for your loss, as I said, and I give you my condolences. And may Bearmish rest in peace in the knowledge that you loved him so.

I had a Doberman for about 4 and a half years. All his life he had severe skin issues, constantly scratched and would bleed and me and my family spent thousands trying to find a cure for him, but all it did was prolong his death. We had to put him down on December 6th of 2014. I've seen and been through a lot of death in my life but seeing my best friend laying dead on the tail gate of the truck to bury him broke me down. I still miss him, if you ever need to vent or need someone to listen don't be afraid to hit me up on here or on skype. I will pray for you <3

Sorry for your loss. How did your dog died?

He had developed some sort of mass on his liver (95% sure it was cancer) which caused it to completely, 100% fail. The first vet we went to when he was showing signs of illness assured us he just had some sort of infection, or stomach bug, and he would go back to himself after a few days or a week and sent us home with some stomach settling paste. He only got worse over the upcoming 4 days, so we took him to another vet, who took one look at him and instantly knew it was not good. He did a thorough check on him and found the mass on his liver, plus the signs for complete liver failure (yellow eyes, yellow gums). At this stage, it was too late to do anything, and he was humanely euthanized, before the liver failure killed him. I'm happy to know that he went out in the arms of his loved ones, and his suffering is now over, but life simply won't be the same without him. He had millions of little quirks that made us all smile, from his silly standing in the doorways and refusing to move, to his random outbursts of running around like a puppy and barking at the birds, even at 12 years old. I'm going to miss him dearly.

I know that losing a pet can be very sad ( I lost mine a couple of years ago and I still miss him) but you donΒ΄t be discouraged. He surely would not want to see you sad for him.

He joined the angels now... rest in peace little boy. He will always be in our hearts. I didn't have the chance to meet him, but I wish I could. He was such an amazing dog. Correction* he is an amazing dog since he lives in our hearts forever <3 miss you buddy...
