Description
An image from my imagination of something (?) transcending the two-dimensional format of a hanging picture frame. A friend suggested that I call this piece "Pet Door to God's House."Related content

Holy crap this is incredible. That shading, all the details, the level of realism and the concept itself are beautiful, and I love the composition and all the twisting forms. I've never seen anything quite like it.
Why hasn't it got a Daily Deviation already.

very interesting as are the comments on the work. the drawing itself is impeccably done. I'm thinking microphage passing through cell wall or even from body to body...transcending itslef each time. great thought-provoking and evocative piece.

I see it as a neural pathway with dendrites stretching behind the wall, the frame actually being a window, and a coiled axon as if to say you are cut off from your neural transmitters or I will no longer accept your synapse. I also think of the dark rectangle as a screen, a screen within a screen (within a computer screen for those viewing online)
as well the "axon" reminds me of an elephants trunk which brings to mind Ganesha, the remover of obstacles
this is really an amazing piece, I appreciate the diversity of textures and how each of the "dendrites" in the foreground is unique, very inspiring
