Description
From 15cm square origami paper. I was aiming on making a bigger dog, but somehow the end result looked more like a welsh corgi than a big, though dog. I am still trying to design a bigger dog such as golden retriever for example.Related content

Do you still have the instructions on the corgi and the rooster? I'd love to be able to make these if that's alright.

Wow, that's a beautifully minimal design. I like the bits of white, especially on the neck.

...and later I found a diagram here on DA.

Hehe that cp is unfortunately rather invalid I made a better solution for locking the tail on this diagram (simply compare the cp of this to the one you did before ) Glad you like my work

i loooove welsh corgies~!!! I thought at first it was a fox but the short tail gives it away. I don't know much about origami but your DA site is indeed truly original. May I name this Welsh Corgi "Ein??"I love the texture of the paper you use. Are you interested in doing subjects other than animals(and insects)?? I would love to see an origami house burnt up.

your DA site definately adds more character to my list of Favorites! Even though I'm not the one who did all those artworks, I am for some reason proud of the collection of art I have there. ha ha. And to have your origami there, certainly adds more character...I want to have many different kinds of art and I'm glad I found yours.

im not a fan of small dogs.. but of all small dogs, corgis HAVE to be my favorite. they are so comical, and you seemed to capture that with the proportions. very sweet!

Glad you like it. This is a minimalistic corgi, so I am very happy that you think it looks like a corgi. The diagram for this model has been published in a book last year: [link]
I'll see if I can post the diagram later Thank's for the interest

Yes, it is a Japanese website unfortunately but they have that table of content below the book picture section and list out all the models and creators. This is a very interesting book. They publish it every year and they invite people all over the world to contribute origami diagrams. I was lucky enough to get my diagram published that year, they gave me a complimentary copy I am submitting diagram as well this year, hope they continue to publish my work
