okay, basically this is a map of Unia, the world in which I am setting a flash RPG (called Unia also
).This won't be you're standard RPG either, if you decide to stop going round doing the adventuring, why not sit down on the nearest bench, and go into the forum that is there, you can talk to other adventurers using that bench, or perhaps you have beaten the final monster in the deepest dungeon, you are a god, why not leave a message for the next person who comes by this way?
perhaps you don't like rpg's (you silly fool you) just hang around on Bayla and have a chat at the cafe, perhaps you might want to see the sunset on the observation deck of the plateu on Duhpanno.
basically, Unia will be an RPG with forums littered everywhere, pieces of rubbish may have notes written on them, somebody might have left a message behind a boulder... you get the idea (I hope) and in all these forums you're avatar is the one you make, level up and style in the game.
Okay, I'm tempted to explain what happens in all of the places on the map, but I won't... whan Unia is open you will just have to go and explore for yourself

the map is cool, though a bit plain looking. will there be more development to the map as you create the game? from what i see, there doesn't seem to be many places to explore as far as questing goes.

I can sort of guess how you did the map thing now. Well, not the actionscript, but I can guess the basic principles.
What type of RPG will it be? (ie, Real time fighting/Command based/Turn Based etc)

Yep, all in flash. I've done a few experiments to check that it can be done.
to be honest, I don't know how I want to the battle system yet, I'm certain that it won't be random battles though, it could get pretty annoying if you wanted to go talk to a buddy and monsters kept getting in the way =/
A real time fighting system may be easier to pull off, but I'm making it bit by bit so I should be able to get a basic version built and put a fighting system on top of it...

well Unia will be changing all the time, there will be people looking to explore and populate new areas all the time
those islands just haven't been explored yet
