Description
Guess what... I should be sleeping right now after night shift (and more importantly before another night shift) but I got sudden spark of creativity and decided it's finally time. What time? Well, I love my avatar here to pieces, it fits in the color scheme of dA and the expression as well as person on the picture sits very well with my overall feelings... buuut it's not my work, it's not entirely me.
So for some time now I was thinking of drawing my own virtual representation of myself.
So here is the first sketch and right now, I am pretty pleased with it.
(Green fox? WTF? Nope, I say FTW, guys, it's my fox, deal with it
Of course it might happen that I will redraw it completely and discard this

Maybe, or maybe it's too calm for a side picture on a fighter plane

Well considering the fact you have two "fuck you symbols" at the bottom of the wings ... this can be cute

Do I? Why that doesn't surprise me one bit?

Because I told you that in the past? Or is it just that you can expect anything of me, as far as the book concerns? I think, the second answer is correct. It is obvious that all these characters are more or less super heroes, but special ones.

Or maybe it's because you know me and I know you do?
Superheroes you say? Well, I certainly have nothing against that. But one day I have to have a talk with you about this book of yours, since I want to know where exactly you are aiming with it. I don't think I understand it

In what way? Each side has its own heroes .. the friends of mine, with the main character Karel. And they are all too awsome to get killed so they survive everything. And the aim of this? Well, fun at first, then the rest. And the story is just mainly set in WWII. because I know almost everything about it, it's my hobby one could say. But the war does not go as it did in reality - I change it as I need and want. No nazis, Hitler dead, superweapons, different battles and such. And yes, your characters are unique, like you are an excellent pilot, Karel a "bad ass"
general of his 800mm cannon (he has more, but this one is the biggest ...) and so ...
.. And that's it.

No nazis huh? See? That's one thing I didn't know. But I was more asking about the story itself. You know, when you write, you have to know where you want it to lead, what are you going to say with that story, what kind of end you want for it. I understand you write it for the fun of it, but you have some storyline for the characters, don't you? And I can't grasp from what I know, what is your goal with the book or the goal of each character. And because it's for long disscussion, I guess, I should talk to you in person or you might want to write me an e-mail

Hmm, well there is a story line, yes. How it is supposed to end I know - but if I told ya, it would be spoiling, you know And story line for the characters, yes. When one has to fight, then fight. When not, then have fun or fun during the battle
The goal of the book is to entertain, it's more about the characters, which are funny as hell
, nothing one could come across in real WWII, than about the fighting. But it is there most of the time as well
But not the way as it is described in other WWII books. And the goal, well to survive, be respected is come cases, or just to show the enemy, how awsome the exact character is.
Hm, if you know HalΓ³ HalΓ³ series ... then you could get and idea of the book content
- like what the fun of war means
But I do not copy that serie .. no. I have my own awsome situations
Well, hm ... but if you wanna know something special .. then you can ask me.

Yaaaaay, a foxie! It's perfect. Halfway between cute and threatening - I think it suits you.
Is the spiral meant to be there somewhere?

It's far from perfect but thank you anyway
Yeah, I though you would say something like that
Well it was intended to be there, but as I tried to resize the picture to see how it would look like, I found out that I have to either redraw it altogether or crop the fox so it's filling the square better... so no space for spirals of life and I am quite unhappy with the tiny version... so I am probably just going to color this and draw another one for the ID icon

I love you.
What about making the spiral a part of the background? Let the fox curl up on it, or make the spiral partially visible behind it like a rising sun?

Really now? where did that come from this time? I start to be suspicious of those three words. People seem to say them when I do something they consider sort of weird. Love you too anyway...
I will figure something out don't worry I just don't have to have it really there, it was only an idea. But I am probably going to change my signature to something spiral-esque, I don't need the Star Dragon Guardian anymore, I am ok on my own now.

Weird. Or cute. Or sad. Or anything else, really, because I do love you.
Anyway, I could imagine you slightly bristle at being described as halfway cute and threatening, and that made me giggle. So there.
Okay, okay You'll see.
