I work mostly with these programs, but am getting into others.
Apophysis
Paint Shop Pro X3
PhotoShop
Bryce
VUE
C4D
Plus I am using different "Flaming Pear" filters in my PSP program.

This piece "Vibrance" that you are commenting on I did with Bryce and Apophysis.

I have not tried Blender, but I heard it is a good little program. Have you used GIMP? It is free.
