For Christmas, I received new pastels. Though I'm not very practiced in this medium, I have a desire to get better; what other way to learn than by drawing my newest addition to the barn, Indian Summer?I obtained her from the Enochiari Art Auction a few weeks ago! It turns out she's a blast to draw with traditional mediums as well as digital, so I'm looking forward to a long career with her.

Thank you so much! Sometimes, I feel like it's so nice to get back to traditional mediums. Also, this horse is super fun to experiment with because her colors are so unique and diverse!

Hehe maybe, I'm kind of skeptical of them because I was only just getting used to acrylics, and they're completely different--I'm really into layering things and with pastel they get so smudgy! I'll have to practice more!
