One more moment
With you

Time
The stop lights flash
Yellow to black
The traffic
Itself
Is lonely
And there is but
A quiet voice
Left to grace
My silent
Head
With seldom whispered
Words
And comforting
Non-verbal
Sounds
This is my poem
This moment with you
While a world
Sleeps unknowing
Of our times
And all
That will be left
Of this sparkling
Drowsiness
Will be my footprints
A single set
On the window
Where
They rested
As I wrote
