Description It's late here.
I'm finishing my shift for work.
My first shift
In a new job.
I'm tired.
And I have a long day ahead of me.
Where is my comfort?
Where is someone
Who could take my head
In her soft, warm hands
And smile sweetly
As she tells me
That it will all be fine
Because she'll be sleeping
Next to me
That night?
What hurts more
Than knowing there's no one waiting
For me at home,
Is knowing that
She wouldn't want to wait.
At least not for me.

Oh! no! It's somewhat a good thing! I'm saying i connected to the poem realy well at the end. Given I'm no where in the same position. ^_^ I'm saying it was pretty amazing how you did that.

Thanks. I think that's probably the nicest thing anyone's ever said about something I've written. I appreciate that more than you know.
