Sometimes you just have to get away from it all ...Safari-like sunset in know-whos-where-exactly location. Basically had a lot of fun with shades and different colors meshing together. Really wanted to give it a "sunsetting-glow" kind of feel to it as well.
And, phew, bless that little monkey!
Hope that it's as enjoyable to you as it was for me spending some time making it.

Excellent pixel work, though the sunset looks like a heavily dithered JPG. I guess for pixel art that would look good though.

That cloud work is amazing. It's a good thing you didn't anti-alias them, since that would've hurt the contrast between then layers. The simple background is also very nice, since most people would've just left it flat, they manage to capture the jungle in the back with minimal detail. Great work.
