Description
This is an old one I'm resubmitting. I deleted it for some reason or other. I also re-rendered it. It's one of the pieces I sold at the art show in Connecticut.Related content

Hey Hal, congrats on your sellings, i've just read your note about it
Are you happy with your printings ? Was it smooth enough ? Was it sold with a frame or something ?
I guess you oversized your render to get something decent, and you printed it on a photo paper.
I made some prints of my apophysis renders (and was really happy with the result) but never tried with the mandelbulb ones, was wondering about the quality, but i think it was good enough cos you sold them

Thanks! I had my pieces printed locally at a print shop and was very pleased. They were very pricey as well but worth it I feel. Very vibrant and intense, the quality was excellent. I render almost every thing at a high resolution. I think the 36x36 was rendered at 7000x7000. The 12x18's were rendered at 5000x2812. I did order one print from DA and it was nice, just not quite as crisp and vibrant and they also used a lighter weight fine art paper. Nothing against DA printing, they're just trying to make prints affordable. I paid about 30% more (for the 12x18) at the local printers. The 36x36 was actually $20 less than DA. The pieces at the show were sold with no frame. I do have a matt cutter though and matt my own stuff.
