This is clearly based on the Heroes of Might & Magic universe.
This battle is a visualisation of a clash between the Haven and Dark Elves factions.

Well, it's not like Warhammer is not based on LotR
Anyway, there's a Balrog in the picture, a knight wearing the winged Crown of Gondor, a giant Eagle, a Nazgul and his flying steed and Minas Tirith in the background. lol, guess why this makes me think of LotR!

the colours and figures look pretty neat here, just one little thing is that the horse blends to much with the hill for me. in the first moment i had to look hard to discern what exactly was fighting the minotaur with the axe.
i guess a little more light from below on the knight or some harder lines or contrast would make the compositon stand out more.
but otherwise great work, really!
