Description
I think Connie made a wise choice here...the Guys have to be exhausted anyhow. Filling their brains with internet info overload may just be too much for them...Yayyy! A dollar store! (Connie's not rich, especially after paying for all of Lud's beer earlier...so it's gonna be shorts, sweats and t-shirts for the Boyz for now).
Shopping at Dollar Holler with The Compozerz ought to be an interesting experience.

I don't think the guys can possibly complain about their new duds since new clean clothes hafta be better than wearing desert-dust.

Fredrick Chopin. A genius pampered wimp, but a pampered wimp nonetheless.

@_@ But Connie never said "bath"--she said "shower." Say, would they know what a shower is...? ._. I dunno. Guess I'll have to check it out.
^_^ They're adapting all right, it seems... but then again, large supermarket type of stores were unheard of then, weren't they? They were popularized later on... I wonder what they'd do... O_O Turn the whole shampoo aisle into a giant slip-'n-slide? >.< Oh, I can't wait to see what happens next!

Oh man I think this is my new favorite comic. I love the style and I haven't laughed so hard in a while.
I also love the details and the colouring. Amazing!
And I can't wait to see what happens next!
(by the way, I made a stamp for your comic [link] )

Try a few dozen!
And I bet you would. What do you use for the comics, by the way? (And I everything from markers to paper)

I use bristol board to draw it on, micron pigma pens to ink (size .005. .01, .03 and .05).
To color I use Berol Art Markers mostly, and some Crayola, Staedtler, and Faber-Castell markers too. Sometimes if I need it, I'll use colored pencil if I need a certain effect.
I draw the frames around the panels in MS Paint.

Interesting... I've been looking into doing more traditionally, and I always find it interesting what people used.
And it seems bristol board is big with everyone. I should get me some bristol board!

hankinstein In reply to Severita [2008-09-16 20:15:00 +0000 UTC]
Bristol board is nice. I guess it's more durable than reagular paper. Besides, when I erase my pencil lines, I have a tendency to slip and crinkle the page, so bristol board (being stiff) doesn't do that. Yeah, I get rough with that paper sometimes! (I am hard on pens too. I have a bad habit of pressing down too hard on them and squishing the ends flat).

Severita In reply to hankinstein [2008-09-26 20:13:00 +0000 UTC]
I really need to look into getting some bristol board, I tend to do the same thing to my poor paper.
I'm horrible to my tablet-pen, it's amazing the board can still pick it up.

I'll look for some next time I'm out!
I bet markers also don't bleed quite as much on it?
π: 0 β©: 1
hankinstein In reply to Severita [2008-09-26 20:41:00 +0000 UTC]
No, no pens bleed that bad on it. Only sharpies that are brand new. I actually prefer sharpies that are a *little* dried up so that doesn't occur.
It also (like I said) holds up to us abusive arteestes...hehe Oh yeah--and if you have to scan for some reason in a scanner where you feed it through...much less chance of a paper jam.

Severita In reply to hankinstein [2008-09-26 20:45:43 +0000 UTC]
I think those bleed on basically everything. And when they don't I smudge them due to being a lefty. Basically anything that makes a mark and isn't EXTRA FAST DRY is generally horrible to me, though, you should see when I try to write.
Hah, I don't know when I'd come into that kind of situation, but you never know!

hankinstein In reply to Severita [2008-09-26 21:02:17 +0000 UTC]
Hey, I meant to add shat sharpie made a new pen (called the "sharpie pen" lol) that isn't supposed to smudge. So far, I've liked it.
