After being given permission by TheBlueInk to use his Sonic power ups in my verse, this is the first part, which, from what I read, is a state Sonic takes that puts his speed passed its absolute limits and uses it as a weapon.

Here's the description of the ability of Sonic Overdrive that gives an idea of what it is. As it's a form, I can see Sonic obtaining after the events of Sonic Chronicles the Dark Brotherhood so as not to fall behind Goku Jr. and Vegeta Jr. as they came back from the Twilight Cage years passed in their dimension where Goku Jr. and Vegeta Jr. are around their mid to late teens: www.deviantart.com/theblueink/…
