Perhaps making the leopard a purer shade of white/grey, so it contrasts more with the mountain would improve it? And also the foreshortening is off on that leg right there. I love the snowy summit of the mountain, though.
What kind of paper are you using? Mi-Teintes?

construction paper from the bottom of the shelf in my computer room. I have a Mi-tientes sketchbook, but that's very rough

Ooo, tsk tsk Sarah! You'll never get good results from construction paper...The colours are so unnatural and it fades so easily. It doesn't "take" oil pastels well, either; it just gets all greasy and unmanageable. Unless, of course, you're using oooberspiffeh construction paper...
