Description Yay! Colors!

So. This is... old now. I've been working (on and off) on a project since the beginning of summer, but I don't know if I'll ever actually finish it. So, in case it never comes out, here's the colored version of Point Taken [link] for all the kind people who asked for it.

P.S. The reason for the border: it's supposed to be a photograph. Should the finished product ever come out, you'll see why.

Thank you!! I actually drew this wanting to show a side of Snape and McGonagall's working relationship that I hadn't seen before. I think they were friends, for a time. I'm so very glad that you like it!

Very original work! I am very impressed with it! It is not a scene from the book or the movie and yet...I really feel like it should be! Well done. I also love the work you did on the plaid. OMG!!! I would lose my mind with the plaid. You are my hero just for that! But I have to say....my favorite part is the poke. So much goodness in this work. Well done!

Thank you so much! I really try to keep the characters in canon, because that's what I loved about them in the first place. But I really wanted to show a piece of Snape's life that wasn't all doom and gloom, you know? I figured his good-natured rivalry with Minerva was an excellent example.
I love plaid. But that thing took SO LONG... oi vey.

I really like this - the textures and colours and light. How great is it that Snape's robes billow even in the apparent absence of breeze!

There is not nearly enough homage to those amazing hourglasses in fan art, and I don't think we'll ever see them in the movies. Well done!

Thank you! I agree that there should be more representations of the hourglasses (and most of the rest of the wizarding world!). Rowling did a genius job of creating a world full of wonder and intrigue, hidden just behind the walls of our own mundane existence. It's prime ground for artists of all kinds to exploit!
