Pokemon trainer Ariel is a spoiled and self-absorbed kid who collects tons of stuff she doesn't really need. She'd like to collect Gym Badges and Ribbons too, but she has way too little patience to concentrate on training pokemon so she doesn't do too well on that front. Since her family is wealthy she spends money at an alarming pace, and her father has started to think actions to get her in line.I have no idea how morning light should work and I couldn't find good reference or tutorials either, so this doesn't resemble my plan in the least. Plus the room didn't turn out nearly as messy as I had wanted, and I run into a surprising problem: I can't imagine buying stuff I don't specifically need, so I had serious trouble thinking of useless ornaments for her to own. So I mostly just ended up drawing plushies and boxes that contain her collections. But I think I still like this quite a lot, it was great fun to draw and perspective worked out and surprisingly well.

I'm gonna be honest this picture would be perfect without a description, the description, is probably your interpretation of how you see the character, but not mine, mines kinda the opposite XD, whatever though, each to their own. I adore her collection though, but it makes me wonder what her starter would be... XD

It's more of a description of the pokemon world character I created based on the movie character, not how I see the movie character. I hate the movie Ariel (mostly because of how the story treats her) and my description of her would be a lot more unlikable, but I'd rather like my "own" character so I rewrote her a bit (the picture description is only a part of my idea of the Pokemon Ariel character since I didn't want to write a huge fanfiction or character analysis that has nothing to do with the Deviation here).

Probably not, since this picture series is about the princesses in the pokemon world (in this case: "Ariel collects stuff"), not what their rooms would look like. If I draw more princesses it's more likely that something other than their potential room inspires me.

Her character design has purple in the seashells, and the picture was already so blue/green that I chose to use some other colour.

Wow, the effort put it this is amazing! I like how you included all the starters as plushies, even Froakie! I could go on and on about what I loved that you included though, haha. But "The Little Milotic" takes the cake. I also agree that I could see Ariel as the type to be frivolous, with a king for a daddy, who wouldn't though?
