Pokemon trainer Ariel is a spoiled and self-absorbed kid who collects tons of stuff she doesn't really need. She'd like to collect Gym Badges and Ribbons too, but she has way too little patience to concentrate on training pokemon so she doesn't do too well on that front. Since her family is wealthy she spends money at an alarming pace, and her father has started to think actions to get her in line.I have no idea how morning light should work and I couldn't find good reference or tutorials either, so this doesn't resemble my plan in the least. Plus the room didn't turn out nearly as messy as I had wanted, and I run into a surprising problem: I can't imagine buying stuff I don't specifically need, so I had serious trouble thinking of useless ornaments for her to own. So I mostly just ended up drawing plushies and boxes that contain her collections. But I think I still like this quite a lot, it was great fun to draw and perspective worked out and surprisingly well.

The whole idea of 'collecting' actually implies it's things you don't need: nobody needs stamps or dolls or plushies. Even ccollecting things that have a purpose like cars or food, when you have more than one that works to help you go on, it's unnecessary. I'm like you, I always find it hard to draw a place with stuff no one needs cause all that kind of stuff that was in my house ended up in the garbage cause I couldn't stand it. But even if it feels good to live in an almost empty space, in a drawing it's more interesting when there are a lot of details like here.

I think you don't really have to sweat about messiness. I bet she'll slip on the magazines when she gets up and even though it's a bad idea, Ariel'll will grab the bed sheet as a terrible support and it will only escalate...

They aren't really legendary pokemon, it's just Gorebyss, Milotic and Vaporeon.

It kind of depends. I think Wallace (8th gym, Ruby and Sapphire) was a water and ice or ice type. Juan (8th gym, Emerald) was a water type.
