Hey look, I haven't been back to my art station for even 2 hours, and already there's art to post. Granted, I drew most of this before my vacation.I take no responsibility for his hair. Just, for the record.

That's a nice pic..... And despite being a sketch had a great depth of field and colouring. Well done! *hits faves*
Recently, I feel like I have been studying that face (Not to mention body) for weeks in the greatest of detail - started a new "tasking" project and I think I have officially decided that Tennant's nose and chin are just too unique and pretty, even though they bare imperfections, to ever be modelled how I want!

There's plenty of free or cheap programs out there as well, for the record, that would probably cover your needs.
And I usually do whenever someone has a question.

You know what the sharpness comes from? "Unsharp mask" in post-work.

Regular round brush, sometimes soft, sometimes hard, opacity & flow set to pen pressure, and of various sizes. That's about it, really.

Usually, yeah, but I rarely (if ever) press hard enough that it actually goes to 100%.

I just prefer to put him in a shirt. For various reasons that involve lots of extra backstory for him but basically boils down to that his roomie thinks he looks more attractive and respectable with a shirt than a tee. Clearly, I am not people.
