Sorry about the text wall on the third panel; it all seemed pretty relevant and I didn't want to cover up Diamond by splitting it into chunks!
Also, I do realise that Diamond has a hairstyle a lot like Cadence's at the moment. It was a mistake but it would be a little weird if everyone avoided the hairstyles used by royalty, wouldn't it? Besides, I've been coming up with a lot of hairstyles (and tiara designs) for this set of comics, there's sure to be some overlap somewhere!
Before people read into the wrong things:
- Filthy Rich will not have a heart attack or any such drama during the course of this story. "Doctor says I look fine!" isn't dark foreshadowing, it's just him catching up with RIAW's doctor* and said doctor leaning towards bad puns (which I don't think Diamond's into but she'd not going to get too angry at the guy who looks after her dad's health unless he messes up).
- Wacky as it would be, Snails is not dating Apple Bloom. Though it's not a major plot point you will find out who he is dating before the comic ends (she'll get the next introduction panel for this story, which will be its last 'cause it's right near the end).
* I know the normal fan name is "Dr Stable" but, clever House/Horse pun as it is, I don't think it suits him at all. I also like "Dr Heartthrob" for him but then it might imply Diamond's dad has a thing for him, which isn't what I was going for.

Just because you're not going to be asking her out immediately doesn't mean that you shouldn't be angling towards some way to spend some time with her outside of work. You've got history, and while she's happy to put it behind her in order to take a job, I don't think it's so far behind that she'll accept a date with the school bully. You're going to have to ease gently towards your goal, and I could easily see that eating up the entire recommended delay.

"Characterisation" is a move like Growl in the Pokémon games: If you spam it enough then even basic feels attacks can be reasonably effective.

This is strictly opinion based and just off the top of my head but Diamond Tiara doesn't really seem like she truly likes Apple Bloom more than she thinks she does.
I cannot speak for myself but sometimes a dream is just a dream and she possibly thought it could've meant more than she thought she did. Also she hasn't singled out Apple Bloom entirely during the time on the show from what I've seen.
In truth, I kind of believe that this is because of her downfall in her relationship with Snails that seemed to be slowly deteriorating. To me she just seems like she's fooling herself into believing she may actually have a thing for Apple Bloom when in truth she's just trying convincing herself that she actually does.
While I'm not a big fan of this possible "couple" I do enjoy the comic thus far and am interested in where it ends.

And yeah, I guess I'd consider DT bi... I kind of consider Equestria to be a society that's generally not concerned about the genders involved in relationships though. I'd say it's probably more normal for ponies to eventually settle in hetero relationships but I don't think Equestrians would make a big deal about same-sex couples, especially not when they're still young adults.

And, well... I've considered doing sad feels pics, including one with Diamond Tiara, but it wouldn't be in comic strip form and it's not happening in this story. There are 6 more comic strips to go and nopony dies or gets hospitalised, honest!

Splendid! I admire the simple black/white style you use; it really stands out when you add a colored panel here or there, like you have in some of your other comics!
