Description
in 1963 Scientific Genius Ray Richards believed he had found a way of transporting living beings instantly across great distances using Atomic radiation. He was over-eager to test it and alongside his partner (both professionally and romantically) Susan 'Suzie-Jean' Loring and military accompniment by Sergeant Ben Rothstein (also Ray's old school friend) and Captain Nathaniel Storm the stepped into the transporter and vanished. They reappeared in the present day, half way across the country in the Nevada desert. To them only a moment had passed but to everyone else it had been more than 50 years. They had also somehow developed amazing powers through the transportation. They decided to explore their new and amazing world while choosing to fight evil as The Atomic-4.

Mr. Atomic - Ray Richards (Mr Fantastic/The Atom) - able to change his size from subatomic to giant with a thought.
The Eclipsable Girl - Suzie-Jean Loring (Invisible girl/Jean Loring/Eclipso)- Able to disappear into any shadow and use shadows as weapons.
Sgt. Benjamin J. Rothstein - The Atomic Thing. (Atom-Smasher/The original Atom/The Thing) Increased size, strength and power and a stone like protective skin. Famous for his call to arms "It's Atom-Smashin' Time!"
Captain Nathaniel Storm - Atomic Torch (Captain Atom/Human Torch) - Able to channel and control any kind of radiation he can imagine.
