Attomyk pushed the creaky door open. There was no longer a knob or lock to keep it in place, so he was able to walk right in. The house had been abandoned for years now probably, telling from the rotting wood and dust everywhere. He could hear the wind outside, beating against the shoddy planks, and saw a small leak that had sprung in the roof. He could only hope the house would last the night.
As he moved further into the house, Attomyk began to feel uncomfortable. The house was creepy and certainly offputting, but he that wasn't the cause of his discomfort. No, he realized that he was beginning to recognize things here and there. A corner that he had bumped into once, a plank of wood that always creaked when he stepped on it. But how could this be? He'd never been in this house!

Then the memories came flooding back. This was his first home, he had hatched here. His mom liked to hold him a lot. She always had that soft brown scarf on. His dad always smiled at him, Attomyk had always worried a little about those sharp teeth. They were so nice. Why had they given him up again? They were in trouble. But why? He couldn't quite...remember...

Suddenly, Attomyk spied something in the darkness. The coathanger with a single garment hanging from it. His mother's scarf. It only took a few tries to pull it down, and he wrapped it around his own neck, the soft material bringing him comfort. Quietly, he laid down, singing himself to sleep with a quiet lullaby his mom used to sing to him when he was upset.

A little star shines bright

It dances with the moon in tow

As it wistfully watches us rest in the lands below

Rest now, little baby, you have the star's love

It will make sure to protect you from the skies above

For in the black of night

It will always shine bright

Keeping monsters and frights at bay.

And making sure you sleep till day.

Whew! What a big page! And the next will be no smaller ;u; I suffer. As a side note, please forgive the writing of these pages. They were written and scripted over a year ago, so I understand that some of the writing might be over-dramatic/unrealistic. Nevertheless, be excited! I have literally been plotting this story for over a year now! Yay! I'm so glad I can finally get more in depth about Attomyk and why he acts the way he does.

Backgrounds will be quick and messy for these pages. Not only because I really don't want to do so many detailed backgrounds for so many panels, but also because this is all technically within Attomyk's memory. It makes sense for some things to be fuzzy.

At laaast, Attomyk's appearance changes for the first time in over a year. Believe it or not, he actually he one more baby upgrade to go and then he will be good until he grows up. I have reaaaally taken my time, but I wanted him to develop, and this upgrade and the next one would are based in his surroundings. It wouldn't have made sense to give them to him in the nook.
