am pretty sure there are various ways to do backgrounds
..I just have been getting a lot of people asking me " how do you make your backgrounds ? "
So .. Thats why I made this mmkay

I have already had people tell me my Traditional style doesn't go with my digital ,
or that I should just forget Traditional and only do digital ... Please don't go
there - I've heard itΒ a lot , and I AM NOT CHANGING MY STYLE -thanks !
Anyway , enjoy ... Β

It's cool to see your start to finish process. How long does it take you to complete roughly?

One panel takes about 4-6 hours ( depending on the background and detail )

I will (^_^)
Aww cool , yeah - I had a feeling your work had some traditional backing - you understand color and texture really well . And your poses seem so free and not stiff -Β Yeah watercolor is good , I use water color pencil crayons a lot - I love the ' blobby ' look it gives

It's really amazing to see how your process works! You have a lot of dedication to go through two mediums (traditional and digital) to achieve the look you want, and all your love and effort really shows.
Also, this picture is so cute! Where is it in your gallery?

Dude, what I don't understand is people telling others to change their style -3-
that always creases me...I understand the "creative criticism" part I guess, but if the person is generally pleased with what they do and how they do it why would anyone try to convince them to change... The person can go at whatever pace they please and do whatever makes them feel comfortable.Β
I'm off my soapbox, NARGH. but it really shows you put A LOT of work into your art my gosh!!
This a sweet lil tidbit to have! Thanks for sharin it with us!Β

Its their way of saying' Different art styles scare them ' , and I'm glad I scare them --> They want me to mesh and blend in , but I won't
Aww happy to share my tidbits - No problem (^_^)

waaah 8D X'D thank you >w<
but I don't attempt full backgrounds very often... Your tutorial's details about what colors to use seemed very good advice
I may try that sometime with the browns instead of blacks... I like that effect ^w^
