He is one tough Wyvern. I killed him 8 times by now.
I used Onslaught Hammer and used the Diablos S armor.
Lao Shan is not that intimidating though just attack his belly. When you defeat Akantor you get the ecology.
Its Gravios vs Akantor. Too bad Gravios dies.

me and my fellow hunters have found an easy way to take the akantor down so one of use can get the armor. just can't wait till monster hunter freedom unite comes out more stuff to fight and more armor

I hera you. They say you can transfer your character to Unite, but I'm not sure though. I'm almost done getting the whole Akantor armor. I just need the plate which need 5 Gravios Brainstems >.>

yeah my friend had to farm the tails off those things for awhile but i looks cool. as far as the transfer from all that i am hearing is it's like the transfer from Monster Hunter Freedom 1 to Monster Hunter Freedom 2

I found out that the only way to get Gravios brainstems is to beat Black Gravios in the high Guild by cutting off its tail. So this might take me awhile to get the full Akantor armor.
I am trying to unlock the Akantor Great Sword.

what my friend did for that was just go the the high level gravios in the volcano area, only chop of his tail and carve if you don't get it just abandon and try again. i was talking with him earlier and he said that was the fastest way since the black gravios is such a bitch to kill

The only thing is that when I hit the tail, my weapon bounces off. So I am working on the Silver Rathalos armor for Fencing (ESP) and some attack boost for some extra damage. So far I got 2 rubies. The only weapons I used against Gravios is the Diablos Chaos Broker and the Guild Knight Sabers. Guess I gotta cut some tails off for quite awhile. >.>

yeah that's what my friend had for his set up. but hopefully just carving the tail will help you get there faster.

They say having the Gold Rathian armor with good luck skill will give you a high chance in getting rarer items. So I might get this one as well. I got tired of farming for Los rubies.

it's the last elder dragon in monster hunter freedom 2 you have to hunter rank 6 just to fight it. it's in the guild hall you fill out certain requirements.

yeah me and my friends have been playing for some time and we are now just farming for decent armor so we can kill the damn thing. lol.

im still trying to beat the fatalis. friggin thing wont die! i only have two friends to play with, and they are both level two hunters...basically dragon kibble for a fatalis.

best thing you can do is farm the hell for your friends, get them some silver rathalos and gold rathain armor so they won't die as quickly, also ranged weapons are great if they know how to duck. LOL

0.o silver rathalos and golden rathian armor...nuuuu! i hate fighting those things! i only beat them once in the first game...my best weapons so far are the jade tempest and the Judgement. i have basarios U set armor and blue soul rathalos armor...so far i've been awesome with them, but its getting harder.
what would you suggest for the silver and golden wyverns?
