Joe is a detective, but he doesn't work for free. Sometimes people try to get slick and won't pay after a job well done. Well if you don't pay, you'll have to say hello to his little friend.I like drawing Joe, since he's got more of an average body type. Just like his name I suppose. It's good practice to draw other types of people as well.
Where's the woman, you say? She's offscreen, trying to pay with some other method. Unfortunately thots are not allowed at Joe's detective agency. Can't pay the rent with good looks.
I like drawing with a dirty/ grungy feel. It just looks so cool, and feels really western. What do you think, is it cool? Does the gun look good? I had to draw this really fast because I'm going to college tomorrow, so there might be some mistakes somewhere. If there are, point them out, thank you.

Yeah! I had to do this relatively fast because I had to pack everything up for college, but it still turned out all right. I really didn't think that anyone'd want to see Joe with his shirt open though lol

Thanks! Oh no, Joe isn't powerful at all, haha. He's just your average detective that's behind on his rent. But when he wants something, he's pretty good at persuading you to do it.

Anyways, I can see how you went with a paint style and it works by giving a noire/gritty vibe which fit's for him. AlsoΒ The gun he's holding looks really nice, alot of detail for such a small object. He even has a natural pose which is cool!

Yeah! Joe doesn't care about much, but one thing he does care for is money. Man, woman, he doesn't care. If you owe him you're gonna pay up. I really like the challenge of giving digital art a more textured feel, since the default setting looks really clean.
I'm glad you like the gun, it took me a while to get it just right. I think my previous drawing helped me a lot, since Itsuki's armor had a fair amount of metal on it. This was pretty much the same as that, but in a different shape.Β
I don't really know how the pose came out the way it did, but it's probably because I lean back in chairs a lot myself lol.

Thanks! I'm glad the gun turned out alright, I think that was the hardest aspect of the piece for me. Interestingly the idea for the background came from a 3d model I made last semester of Joe and Dan's apartment. So yeah, that's why its so detailed haha. The pose kinda came from me and my horrible posture lol. Always slumping in chairs because I think it looks kinda cool. But yeah, I thought it'd fit Joe's character!
The offscreen lady just wanted Joe to find her cat, so she thought that'd be a small order. Little did she know that even something like that can be very difficult for someone to do. And he'd let her pay in installments, definitely; at 20% interest of course.
