Kaimono wo suru, to shop. This kinda looks like something you'd see in a textbook, so I thought of that. I need to get back to studying Japanese...

I was asked to draw Ethan and Alice recently, by two different people. Isn't that crazy, having fans? It's kinda heartwarming... and so, I shall not disappoint! I don't know how Gavin ended up in there too, but I wanted to add something to the composition I suppose. He's not very happy... (though, when is he ever?)

It's interesting to draw Ethan and Alice together. Alice is one of the few (actually the only) woman that Ethan can tolerate. He appreciates her purity, I guess! I think I finally got the heights right, too. Ethan's almost a foot taller than Alice, lol.

I was wondering how I could do something new with my characters, something I hadn't drawn yet you know. Then I realized I hadn't drawn them in modern times yet, so here we are. Yeah. Some botched perspective too, because I still need to practice it more. I really hate drawing people walking. I suck at it, that's why. The legs always get me.

Alice: Wow, this place is so different from where we come from!
Ethan: It's loud and noisy. I can believe that Maverick and Hawke grew up here.
Gavin: Indeed...
Alice: I think it's amazing how there are so many lights everywhere! Mr. Joe told me they were powered by "lightbulbs."
Ethan: Yeah... and these markets, too. Some of them are open all day. I have no idea how they do it without the food going bad.
Gavin: Mage, do you have to be so close to my lady?
Ethan: What? I told you, I'm not interested in your woman...
Alice: Huh? Interested in me?
Ethan: No, it's nothing. The knave can tell you.
Gavin: I'm just doing my duty as a knight, my lady.
Alice: But Mr. Gavin, Mr. Ethan is my friend, too...
Gavin: *Friend... I'll have to try harder to make my feelings apparent.*
