“Do I seem THAT scary?” The Froslass backed off a bit and let out some chuckles.Still crying, Rhodes was completely confused. He stared into the air blankly.
“They haven’t notice yet, eh?” She asked the Sneasels. “That you guys are from Slasher Gang, or rather, WERE from that gang?” She particularly emphasized the word “were”.
Leon was shocked to hear that. Even though Rhodes seemed to be nice, Slasher Gang was not a good thing to get involved in.
“What? Slasher Gang?” The words slipped through the Riolu’s mouth and he immediately covered his mouth, with his eyes wide opened. He knew that mentioning the word “Slasher was strictly prohibited in front of the Princess of Mist.
Seeing that reaction, Isolde chuckled again. “Don’t worry, I don’t care. I’m in a good mood today, only for today though. I’ll freeze you if you mention him again after today.”
“H-huh? W-w-why?” Meri was puzzled. She was hiding behind Leon all the time.
“Tell them why, Sneasel kids.” Isolde looked down at the Sneasels, only to see that the scarf-wearing one couldn’t stop crying. “Sigh… I’ll tell you then.”
She turned back to the Masked. “Slasher… is DEAD!”
Leon and Meri was once again, shocked. They couldn’t let out any words to describe the surprising news. Noir didn’t know what everything meant; he just scratched his head constantly.
“How I wish it would be me finishing him off. Oh well, he’s dead, I’m happy.” Her eyes were squinted hard. It seemed that they were flashing with devilish light. She really hated him. “I have to thank the one who killed him though, that the forest is a lot more peaceful now with his absence.”
“It does not mean that it is safe now, we still have some stragglers to deal with…” She turned to Rhodes again, glaring at him. “You… Don’t tell me you are one of them…”
“O-of course n-not!” Rhodes jumped up. His voice was still shaky. “H-he is no longer our b-boss!”
“Let’s see how your little companions think. If they believe in you, then I’ll let you all go.” Isolde was rather calm, she could already tell from the Sneasel’s actions that he was not a bad Pokemon, but she decided to put him into test. To her, it was fun to see anyway.
The Sneasel set his tearful eyes on the Masked. He was nearly begging. “Please, I’m sorry we didn’t mention we were from the gang, but we are really here to help!”
Leon felt a bit uneasy. Slasher Gang was undoubtedly an evil team, they even dealt with them before. He hesitated. “I…”
