Corkscrew-

Personality- Hard working and determined, will work at anything in order to succeed. Not exactly a fighter, more of the one to be rescued (not NOT like a damsel in distressed). He is not the most intelligent mare, but he can make up for that in the way that he works hard. He relys not on his brains, but on his feelings. He's sweet, a bit pulled back, and doesn't have too many friends. He's nice to everyone, but doesn't seem to fit into anyone's social groups.

How he would be good-Glint is intelligent and a decent fighter, which can make him a bit of a jerk. He is self centered and probably believes he can get many things done based on his intelligence and strength. Corkscrew is good in the way that, although he isn't quite as quick as Glint in mind, he will be able to work hard. It would be fun to see Corkscrew working slow and steady to win the race, when Glint is trying to race ahead like the rabbit from that fairy tale, and be amazed once and a while when Corkscrew beats him. Corkscrew would be perfect to pull Glint back a bit and make him remember what's really important to him. Though Corkscrew might not end up the smartest pony, he might be able to say some meaningful things once and a while that keeps Glint from going completely jerk-y.

Why Corkscrew is not a female- Well why the heck does Corkscrew HAVE to be a girl? I think it would be sweet if they were friends at first, or maybe Glint teased Counter Glint about him not being the smartest, but in time Corkscrew became one who he thought to protect and eventually came to terms that he loved him ^-^ But, you know, Corkscrew COULD be a girl. If you're worried about that kinds of stuff.

How they met (perhaps?)- Corkscrew works as an apprentice blacksmith and helps cart their weapons and metal supplies all throughout the village. Perhaps he would have met Glint and each time they met Glint would tease him with a group of friends about how slow in the head he was. Eventually Glint's friends may go too far and Glint feels bad and protects Corkscrew's honor. After that, Corkscrew would be almost like the anchor who can always being him home to friends, the one who can keep him from drifting off and becoming too much of a jerk.

Interview with Corkscrew-

Q- Why do you love Glint?

C- Why do I love him? He's my best friend. He makes me happy. He always tries to make me laugh, even if I don't always understand the joke. My father told me that when he met my mom, he knew that he always wanted to be with her. That she was his other half. I guess that's why I love Glint.

Q- Has Glint ever hurt you?

C- The past is the past. Glint is very smart, but he dwells in the past sometimes. Sometimes its best to forgive and forget. I just know that, as of now, Glint protects me and cares for me. Why would I ruin that and bring up the past?

Q- When did you get your cutiemark?

C- Um... I was just helping my dad make a hammer and it.. Um... Appeared... Through... Magic? I don't really know the way those things work.

Q- Whats your deepest darkest secret?

C- Uh... I ate my mom's garden one time. Does that count?

I have no idea what I actually need to put for this stuff. Is this a legit entry? Does this count? Huh? HUH?! XD

Sorry I couldn't draw it. I'm still on my mom's stupid touchscreen computer and I can't draw worth heck. Just look at that stupid hammer and the crappy shading. *sigh* I will draw him for real if he ends up winning. Or when I feel in the mood. One or the other.
