I hear you on that Lee! Simple is better when your trying to tell the story of the X-Men. Possibly two monthly titles and a mini here-or-there during the year spotlighting different characters in the X-Men Universe. IMO, I'd cut Wolverine from all other teams (Avengers, New Avengers, etc. etc. etc.), cancel all his solo and limited series, and pull back on his appearances in other titles and just use him in ONE monthly X-Men title!!! I think that would do some good for the character in general and maybe, just maybe, bring back some of what made Wolverine so cool back in the day!

i agree about everything you said! biggest mistake ever was to reveal all his bground story. he lost a lot of his mystique that way! btw....wasn't he a loner.... he's been a team player from fant four to the avengers....x-men to alpha flight. brother!

I liked that aspect of him too... even though he was a member of the X-Men, he still mostly kept to himself.

Yeah, the boy's got a bit of an ego on him and it usually rams him in the ass in the end. Making the Hulk one of his Horsemen was proof of that to me.

You think he'd know better that it's really, really hard to control the Hulk for any length of time. And when he comes around, your screwed!

Too many people need to learn that the hard way. So far Hulk is being controled by The Serpent's hammer in Fear Itself but we'll see how that goes. He just had one of the best fights with Thor ever in the last issue.

He took the last spot, had such a hard time narrowing down the AOA theme to just 5!!! But in the end, Apocalypse just had to be in this grouping, right? They don't call it "Age of Apocalypse' for nothing!
