Elektra is so cool! Frank Miller's run on Daredevil really made her, thou I'm not sure if maybe they should have kept her dead. Bullseye's killing her was a big moment, "Your good, but I'm magic!"

It just took something away from the tragic story Miller was writing by bringing her back. If I'm not mistaken, I think that was one of the things that pissed Frank off and made him leave Marvel.

I agree with the tragic element. The dark Phoenix saga was really something special, but then they resurrecter her again and again, taking away that, which made it special.
Nowadays a characters death in the Marvel Universe is a joke, or just another word for sending a character on an unnoticed wacation for x amount of time.
It has become clichΓ© beyond clichΓ©.

Death means nothing anymore, so it's hard to invest any interest in such "deaths" when you know it's just a matter of time before their return... perfect example is the current death of Wolverine.

And I bet he will be resurrected, when the next X-MEN movie comes out, starring Hugh Jackman once again ( not that I have anything against Hugh Jackman. He does a great Wolverine ).

I'm currently deciding on a classic cover-shot to do in my style, possibly something from Civil War. Also this summer I plan on starting a comic written and drawn by me using these Marvel characters in a big Contest of Champions-style storyline with, hopefully being the key word, monthly pages!
