I took this about 2 weeks ago. Sadie is our new puppy. Now she is about 12 inches at the shoulder and atleast 14 lbs. She is a yellow Lab and a hellion.Related content

I read your most recent journal entry about wanting more constructive criticism and ways for everyone to improve their art, so I'm commenting on this piece as an example of what I think you should keep on doing...
I think one of the reasons this is so successful is that it's such an unusual angle...sure plenty of people have pictures of their pets on DA, but how many of them thought to focus in on only the back paws??
By taking this creative approach to a typical subject you get something really original...so until you decide exactly what kind of subjects you want to be photographing(you said you were bored with the typical flower shots, so maybe you need to find some more unusual material) you can make even common material be one of a kind...

hey you suceeded at making a great photo.. and a cute one, too! the focus is welllll done, and it adds alot to the photo. You should have gotten rid of the white part up top on the right and left side though, I think it would look alot better, oh well..
ahhh..still...cuteness... I love pups... but yea, its a good pic.
