That's right, folks. I'm a Sonic fan. Whatcha donna do about it, huh? I sketched this picture in pen during my 9am class.. I swear its the only thing its even good for, heh. I scanned it in to practice coloring in Photoshop (I've had it for about a month now! yay!), and although I was planning on cleaning it up, I decided to leave it sketchy. Anyways.. Aw, man, the Archie Sonic comics kick ass. I haven't read any of the newer ones, but back in the day they had some funny ass writers working on it. Great humor, great stories, great art. Spaziante all the way! And that Knuckles miniseries had me hooked. I've still got a mint issue of 25, where Spaz did all the interior art for the first time. Still one of my favorite comics EVER.

Haha.. well, I did study him by looking up pictures of him in order to make sure I was drawing him correctly, but that's more of a minor detail.
What helped me get better the most was drawing Sonic over and over again over the years. Practice really does help. ^_^
