Description This is my Second Super sculpey attempt. Very happy overall with it. hehe. I mixed some black and white sculpey to the mix to see the detail better and it worked like a treat. size is about 16 cm without base.
Any coments or sujestions are very welcome, and o jes if anybody hase some idee of a base i could to for this fellow, please drop me a message.

This is completely awesome! The character has so much depth to it.. I especially love how the jeans 'fall' into place by his feet. Maybe it's not 100% structurally accurate (as others have said) but I really like the stylized form. The skinny denim look with the 'wide legs' gives it a Gorillaz feel. Totally sweet

Cheers man.Gorillaz one of my faves. there style influences a lot of my work. I also checked out some of your films. very cool. would love to try my hand in the entertaiment industry. mmmm maby i could do some art production on one of your sets one day.

looking back at this sculpt now and after watching Sucker Punch recently i could see him as a male version of baby doll. hahaha lol

haha yeah I could see him fitting into Sucker Punch pretty nicely.

Thanks for checking out my work! I do what I can with what I have.. for instance I only spent $80 on 'I Have A Rose'- $30 for the gasmask, and $50 for the actor! DUDE if you ever worked on ANY of my movies it would be such an honor! I would pay you of course, I always do, it just depends on how much I can afford. But you're definitely welcome to work in the art/production design "department" of my "set" hahaa.
And yeah man Gorillaz is amazing for how diverse his art is. definitely an inspiration.

What are the swords made of?

LOL i used some icecream sticks. the wood is hard and flexable so it works well. Would have wanted to use metal but could not find any. I will probibly replace them later when i find something better.

Scrap pieces of granite counter tops work fantastically if you have the right drill bits. If you do this, make sure to look for little thin cracks and veins in the rock, you drill it or hit it the wrong way and it'll break right along them.

Use tile/ceramic drill bits, not masonry bits. And mind you, you WILL go through a few.
And use water! Lots of water.

I'll give it a shot. Actualy found some realy nice sopestone aswell from the vally where i live yesterday after a trip up the mountain. Actualy formed nice slabs of stone to use. Gonne try them first as it looks nice and organic and sets of the sculpt nicely

Oh, well, soapstone! You shouldn't have much trouble drilling that!
Good luck to ya, with both rocks!

Arms need to be thinner at the wrists, and I'd thin down the right bicep a tad. Also thicken the thighs especially the inside, if he closed his stance at all his legs would never touch... which is a bit off. Nice work here though, I would never know looking at your stuff that these were your first couple forays into clay...

Killer sculpt lots of attitude and personality! anatomy wise I think his left arm is a bit small then the right also he could use a bit of thickness to his upper thighs.

Thanks for the comments. I wanted to get that skinny denim look but from the photos i can see what you mean, maybe took it a bit to far. Any advice on a stand maybe? I was thinking something industrial

You are welcome for the base industrial sounds good
I'd keep it simple so not to detract from the figure.
