was this also inspired by Jurassic park- the scene where the kids are in the dinning room and eating jelly and the rapters got in.

Very feathery. I've seen a picture of accurate raptors that have patterns similar to birds of prey. Like there's a picture of a dakotaraptor that looks like an osprey.

Ah, I remember the scene you're depicting here. It's where Grant throws a baby Velociraptor at the adults chasing him and the kids to distract them.

My favorite probably is the Tyrannosaurus escape, it's way more darker and scarier than in the movie.
Yeah, I also like how the raptors are quite different from the ones in the movie, the designs in the book have a way more hybrid look.
