This is an ID.
NOT a deviation, what is slightly annoying is how popular it is, I mean I'm thankful (not saying dont fav or comment if you like it
), but it was a easy shot, no concept, just an ID.I feel I have better photos in my gallery which deserve the attention this one has got. >.<

Describing why somehting went wrong does not make it any good
In my opinion a face should not be blurred in a portrait.

I didn't say why something went wrong, first of all, I had a big rant about people going on about focus problems to me in my journal just yesterday, so getting another already is annoying, and secondly, its an ID. It was never ment for DA but I posted it as an ID cause It fitted in nicely on my profile, annoyingl its become one of my most popular photos, dispite the fact It was a pure 'camerawhore' (for lack of a better word) moment, and I actually intended to use it on one of my internet profiles, it was a lucky shot, shame so many people love it and not other photos in my gallery that I put a LOT more effort into, sorry if I seem agressive.

I did not read the comments, so I just assumed you where describing why your face is blurred. And I did not read your journal...
See, I do not have so much time to really look at pics, comment them, trying to give constructive critique AND additionally reading all the above posts. So I just give my honest opinion, unaffected by other deviantΒ΄s opinions. IsnΒ΄t that something?
And about your ID. I sort of understand why this makes you angry. I too have some shots in which I put a lot of effort in, that seem not to get the appreciation they deserve. I never thought that *In a dream* will get so much favs, cause I donΒ΄t like flower pics that much ^^ I think it is the not so usual look I used in that one which makes it special to others.
IMHO, you should see it more favorable, too. Maybe something like: They do like that one so much, cause IΒ΄m so good looking/pretty in this shot and/or the expression on my face/makup fits so well

tbh I think my face and makeup fits any shot I have of myself, so I dont understand why they always go for this one. ;]
plus I don't want to be re-creating the same photo with more effort just to appeal to DA. I really don't understand their likes and dislikes sometimes, but I don't create my art for them, I create for me, so it really doesn't matter
I'm not saying I'm not happy with the attention, but I'd rather some of my better pictures got the same amount this one does, like you said about your photos.
and I generally have a look around before throwing opinions about, you merely told me it was blurred, you didnt tell me how to improve.
but I'm not really that bothered.
& you wouldn't have needed to read ALL comments to find it either, its in some on the first page of comemnts, and now in the description, so hopefully I won't get it again. etccc

Hmm.. I had a second look at your pic and compared to the other shots in your gallery I personally think you look best here (besides in 'This Heart, It Beats.'
PS: Sometimes I even donΒ΄t read the description, so you should hold a sign in your next shots where you will write down such infoΒ΄s in order that I really recognize them

haha no! It's not harrassing at all. I appreacite all comments I get and try to reply to all of them, I guess I just always find it a bit strange when people call me goodlooking and stuff. ^^
