Cool, I never heard of this Deep Paint program, I always assumed you had to photoshop paint in those textures from a 2D perspective. That's what I used to do with my custom skins.

Main feature of DeepPaint allows you to make a projection of your 3d model on a 2d canvas, so you actually painting on the model from different views like a 2d piece.
It is very helpfull on different stages of your workflow

It reminds me of Mudbox in how you can colour or paint on a 3D model provided it has been UV mapped. I'm actually learning that recently.
