A little liquid-timing and voila, Gabriel and Bandit return home at last, greeted by a most delighted Anna. Why?

Because Bandit got Reserve Champion at PDShowWeek , that's why. And Rodeo Horse High Point. Remember all of these show entries? There's eight of them. He placed second in trail. And won the rest. And in some of those classes he wasn't even the only entry. And that lovely team roping collab he did with toddling and Rooster? Highest scoring entry in the show. I'm as proud as can be.

Y'all should give the PD 2013 Show Week Award Ceremony a skim-through because it is quite wonderfully written. And makes me giggle and blush.

BANDIT

As for the image itself, pardon horrendous paper quality. This is quite an old sketch that I've been saving for a while because I liked how it had turned out at the time, and didn't have the heart to start over on a new sheet... but this particular stack of paper has been sitting at my grandparents' house since I was like seven years old. Mostly on the kitchen counter. This particular sheet of paper has been shuffled back and forth between that house and my college apartment, jammed into various sketchbooks, scribbled on, had water spilled on it, and just generally... aged. But you know, in a way, I think it kinda gives it some character.

Also, those little blue flowers you can just barely see are blue hepatica, which are one of the first signs of spring in Sweden. I never really did any winter doodling this year, but I was in a flowery mood.
