I love that boat but what I am totally amazed is your way of painting the water... you have developped such great skills for painting watersurfaces....

Hi Dominik, and Thanks! in fact, the water in this one is invented, as the water originally was rather dull..
when painting water there are some simple rulles to follow:
_ the watershould always be darker than the sky..
- the reflections should always be darker than the object reflected
- the reflecting part of the water should increase in darkness (value) towards the observer..
- soft and shap edges works Well together (like skies)..
Just can’t go wrong..Β
