I see Fenix and Jean Grey as the same side of a shy girl who hates to know what jerk people thinks. Discrimated as a mutant, she must have growed up with a Napoleoncomplex. Reading thoughts makes anyone paranoic. She must like Nietzsche lol
The eyes on the shadow see the world while Jean are possessed by power and destruction. She wanna destroy the world that tryed to destroy her a lot of times.
If you really wanna see what a evil girl can do please watch "The Anticrhist" from Lars Von Trier, that actually itΒ΄s one of my favorites movieΒ΄s directors.

And yeah, telepathy would suck unless you could turn it off. Telekinesis on the other hand would be loads of fun. Though if I had a choice of anyone in the Marvel universe's powers, I think I'd choose Magneto.
No end of fun being able to say, move cars of non-handicapped people out of handicapped parking slots. (and turn them upside down to get the message across) Or being able to blow the stereo's out of cars that insist on shaking the ground 300 miles away with their stereos. Kinda "You want bass, I'll give you BASS!"
