Description
Random standard pose Donald that I sketched/inked on Ustream. Inked directly over the sketch with a pentel brush pen, on normal printing paper.Three color versions because I'm undecisive.
I love Donald Duck too much, argh!! (has to be the old one though, I'm picky)

Man, this takes me back. My mom had - has - an obsession with Disney and I grew up around old Disney cartoons. Donald has always been a favorite of mine: such a sweet duck, until something ticks him off. You've done a fabulous job. All three versions are wonderful.

Nice progress and takes on Donald, man! I like the style here- it reminds me of Al Taliaferro's

Nice as always. I like the middle one.
Oh, do you know italian disney artists? I know that our stories are exported a lot...

Ofcourse Have to admit I'm not into them as much as the more Barks-esque comics, but the Italian ones are printed in pockets here, plus there's a PK series.

Well, even me I'm not into them no more. The golden age was in 80s and 90s. Now there's a too much angled and strong style. Back in the old days it was more graceful.
Barks was a master for all, but after Giorgio Cavazzano italian style turned in his own way.

He's so awesome!
Funny thing, I can't pick one color out of three either.

I love the old one best, too. Can't beat classic Disney.
Too bad you can't print shirts of him - I'd wear one with these three boxes on it, just like that. haha.
