Ooooohhhhhhh yeeeaaahhhh here we are. Regular Show. A classic, and among one of my favorite shows of all time. I have so many good memories of this show, unfortunately I didn’t fully watch it until early 2018. I have now watched every episode at least 4 times.

From the premise alone you can already tell that this is a unique kind of show in Cartoon Network. Two grown ass men working as groundskeepers in a park slacking off all the time….. having fun and goofing off, being immature, getting in trouble, yelled at by your manager, and just making it through life. The characters in this show are glorious. They are so interesting, enjoyable and of course… hilarious. The characters get developed as the show goes on and makes the relationships so strong after all these many episodes. However the characters aren’t ALWAYS good thanks to season 6 but I’ll get to THAT later. The setting in this show is terrific. Taking place in the early 2000s, but we still get a lot of pop culture references and nice usage of 80s music in a good amount of episodes. The animation is… average for cartoon network however it's still very appealing and isn’t afraid to crank the animation up a notch when they feel the need to do so. The show’s biggest highlight is the comedy, and I’ll even say that this is one of the funniest shows out there. You can pretty much just select a random episode and most likely it’ll be a real goodie, with so many gags thrown in and the character’s interactions to all these weird and strange situations will bound to make you laugh. So yeah, this show has amazing characters, setting, and comedy. What can possibly go wr- love triangle.

Ah yes, the one thing that turns off many fans from this show. The love triangle. Seasons 5 and 6 are not the best. These seasons have a large focus on drama, and it sucks. It's boring, cliche, and shouldn't be in Regular Show. CJ is a badly written character, so bad that the show doesn't bother using her again after season 6 (besides minor appearances in the background). Seasons 7 and 8 are my favorite seasons, once they got rid of CJ the show was back to being consistently great. Have amazing stories and the space journey in season 8 was just EPIC.

Overall this show is AMAZING, amazing cast of characters, development, humor, environment, etc. Definitely recommend this one as it's my favoite cartoon network show ever. Now excuse me, I need to watch Close Enough…
