I think you could say these are the different types of relationships out there.
Cadence the one twue waifu - In other words the fantasy/normal relationship.
Sombra - The significant other that is very controlling and seems to want to keep their partner all to themselves. Or the negative form: Greed/abuse.
Chrysalis - Envy. Always yearning for something more, perfectly willing to lie, and manipulate to get it. Or simply covets what others have rather what they do have.
Or you could think of Sombra/Chrysalis as Cadence's anti-thesis.

What you've said though is quite interesting, as I was pondering similiar things myself while working on these. Perhaps it might be a tad over analyzing of things, but it is interesting how one can draw (heh) such parallels between each character and relationships.
