Description Mysteria looked down at Spellbinder as she struggled against Virago's grip. Under normal circumstances, Spellbinder would be more than a match for Virago, for she was just as strong but had a bevy of additional powers at her disposal. But Mysteria has a unique power of her own - the ability to cancel others supers' powers. While Mysteria willed it, Spellbinder was no stronger than your average woman who jogged every morning. Always Mysteria watched from the shadows, neutering superheroes and letting circumstances do her dirty work for her. Now she was taking a more active role. When her crew, led by Virago, held up the Second National Bank, the money was a secondary target - really what she wanted was in the safe behind her - a mysterious artifact from ages past. Spellbinder's partner Sunwarp had been unfortunate enough to interfere with the robbery and engaged Virago and her minions in battle while Mysteria watched from afar. The look of surprise on his face when he lifted the bank vault door to hurl it at Virago, only to have his superstrength suddenly fail him, was priceless.

Spellbinder doggedly tracked them to Mysteria's lair, but when her powers failed her she was simple enough to capture. Mysteria had taken precautions, of course, for she always thought of everything. A cage with bars constructed of the same material that had first imbued her with her power was made in anticipation of a superhero visit. Spellbinder would have to spend some time within, and she would either turn or would have to be eliminated. Mystria smiled - an insincere one at best - and said,

"What have we here? A spy? How naughty. And whatever happened to your powers - it seems at the moment you couldn't hurt a fly."

"What have you done to me you villain? Let me go!" shouted Spellbinder as she tried to twist out of Virago's grip. Virago growled in response and the grip tightened.

Mysteria said, "Don't worry about what you no longer have - you should worry about what you have to do to get your powers back." She hopped down to face Spellbinder, running her gloved hand across the heroine's face as she examined her more closely. Certainly beautiful, she thought, and it would be nice to have someone besides Virago to talk to - the woman was as dumb as a bag of rocks and had a cruel streak a mile wide. If I have two supers under my control, I can accelerate my plans.

Mysteria's voice turned to honey as she purred, "All you have to do is pledge yourself to my service. If you serve well, there will be...rewards. I assume now that Sunwarp is dead that you can see other people?"

Spellbinder spit in Mysteria's face, shouting "MONSTER!" incoherently while Virago cackled with glee.

Mysteria wiped the spittle from her face, now a bit peeved. She had gotten a reaction, but not quite what she hoped for. This one was brave and would have to be broken.

"I'm sorry you feel that way. It puts me in a difficult position. I prefer not to kill you, but I certainly can't let you go. If you had shown interest, we could have worked something out. As it is, I think Virago hasn't had someone to play with for awhile. I suggest you try your best to satisfy her as she sometimes breaks her toys when she gets frustrated. Throw her in the cage."

Virago hurled her into the cage, quickly locking the chain around her ankle as Spellbinder tried to recover and retreating back as she felt her own strength waning.

"Think carefully on this Spellbinder. The cage will sap your powers, but I have no idea what prolonged exposure will do to you. And if you have no powers, what good are you to me? And I don't make a habit of keeping useless people around."

Mysteria turned to Virago - "You have one week with her. I don't want her broken, but otherwise do what you will with her." Mysteria ran her hand up Virago's thigh and the brute closed her eyes, taking in the sensation. "If you do well, I might even entertain you -- maybe even both of you." Mysteria's voice turned venomous, "Break her or screw this up, and you'll find yourself in there with her."

This render was a request from lada97. All of the characters are based off existing villains and heroes. This is the fifth iteration of this project which has lasted almost 3 weeks and was one of the more difficult ones for me to put together where I was satisfied with the end product. This was rendered in Daz and edited with Affinity Photo. Virago is based on CJ8 and had quite a bit of face work. Mysteria was based of the character Mae. Spellbinder was crafted off of ACLilly and uses Diem's skin. The environment is Bronx Warehouse with the Tank Farm HDRI from Polyhaven providing the outdoor lighting. I will be happy to give a full list of assets to anyone needing them.

To my watchers

The response to this render will determine whether or not I will continue doing these, so if you are really into the light superhero bondage theme, let me know.

As a side note I have completed many of my promised renders and will be moving on to some new projects of my own. Look for my weekly Blood Raven render, more Leta renders, and some experimentation and delving into new characters. Subscription renders will continue, of course. Finally. I have a map project that I am working on for the Morgulia world (if you are looking for a great skirmish game in a dark fantasy world that doesn't require huge cash outlays, this one is for you) that I will be devoting the lion's share of my time to.
