well, I think Kubo finally gave us enough evidence to crack the code for Hollow Ichigo's name. I think it really is "White".
The hollow within Ichigo's mother was called "white"(created by Aizen and his 'henchmen') and Ichigo's dad explained that when ichigo went to Soul Society and his hollow awakened, the linkage/bondage between the shinigami powers and the hollow 'broke' so they were now useless.
So that gives us a hint that Ichi's hollow is most likely "White": He and Zangetsu were originally one being from the beginning, right? "White" was a hollow created and based off a shinigami, and Isshin's shinigami powers must've been copied into Ichigo so "White"'s shinigami side must've become Zangetsu, an artificial being from Ichigo's soul.
this also brings up hints about Ichigo's mother's death.
is this kinda like Naruto and his 9 Tails?
Was "White" transferred into Ichigo 'accidentally'/'unintentionally' during birth?
Or did "White" transfer into Ichigo during the Yuha Bach-Grandfisher incident since his hostess Masaki died?
Or is Ichigo's hollow only a 'Offspring' of "White"'s power? / Because of Ichigo's mother, Ichigo had his own hollow power now and his hollow was just created like a hair of DNA and transformed into a true personal inner-hollow of Ichigo?
If he IS 'White', does he remember what happened to Ichigo's mother?
Since he can't remember his name he must've gotten amnesia, or He never knew Aizen gave him a name in the first place since at the time he was just a mindless experiment????
i hope we get to see more of him in later chapters ;A;

His final appearance is just so...sad and beaten. I hated him not being the cocky and charismatic bad guy.

I wish he appeared again during or just before the final battle... He didn't even get to say anything to Ichigo, which, considering the plot twist about Zangetsu was focused on Ichigo, the Old Man, and Shiro, doesn't make sense that Shiro didn't get to say anything??? Like at all???? Not even "hello, King". :/

There is no way Zangetsu can be White; White and Masaki merged into a single entity at the fundamental level and she stayed that way until her death. What Zangetsu is is a symbolic personification of Ichigo's heritage and darkest personally traits, not a parasitic entity possessing a host body. Notice how Zangetsu's so-called takeovers are Ichigo losing his sense of self and becoming a monster; there is no entity controlling his body (like so may people believe). This was explained in the Dangai training.
The issue is that a lot of fans are looking at it as though there was another entity living/trapped in Ichigo's body like a bijuu and jinchuuriki. This is about as far from the truth as you can get. First-generation hollowfication (Masaki) merges two spiritual cores into a single entity/person; second-generation (Ichigo) is not hollowfied in this sense because the hollow and mother became a single entity at the fundamental level.
White ceased to be it's own entity once Masaki developed a hollow hole. What Isshin did was protect Masaki's Ego (sanity/self-awareness/rationality/humanity) from her Id (instincts/irrationality/inner hollow), which stopped her from completely transforming into a monster and eventually self-destructing. There is no "Masaki and White"; they permanently became one person/entity in every sense of the phrase. There was no "White" to latch on to Ichigo because White and Masaki are the same person.Β
What Zangetsu is is a symbolic personification of Masaki and Isshin's effed-up genetics and their effect on Ichigo, right down to his personality. A psychic/psychological mirror everything he hates about himself. Notice, however, that Ichigo's full hollow forms exhibited feral behavior similar to garden variety hollows and not Zangetsu kayaking talkative,Β

Notice, however that Ichigo in his full hollow forms acted like a mindless garden variety hollow and had no cognitive personality, let alone Zangetsu's. Because hollowfication (whether natural or artificially induced) destroys the soul's ego and superego, letting their id take reign. It's not a parasite hijacking it's host's body/personality like a bijuu does to its host or vice versa.
It's also important to remember that zanpakuto are not separate/independent entities (despite what noncanon anime filler BS says); they are you in every sense of the word. It's giving your mental dialogue/subconscious thoughts and personality a corporeal form made from your spiritual power. And that is what Zangetsu is. Not White, not a parasite, but Ichigo himself, influenced by Masaki's hollowfication.

dont you get the manga or what ? xD the hollow is his true sword and his true power HE is zangetsu and the quincy powers are the old man known as zangetsu up until now, but he is just a 1000 years younger version of jucha bach or whatever that quincy ass is called

I read the manga, but I made this before that chapter came out XD
But still that guy said that the hollow was a lot like an asauchi, and he explained that AIZEN made those 'whites' (asauchi hollows) back then, and when that 'white' went into his host 'Masaki' then masaki and Isshin got hooked up and masaki then also contained isshin's shinigami powers.. In which 'white' fused with both the Quincy and shinigami powers, I think that 'white' transferred into ichigo when he was born, and didn't wake up until ichigo regained his shinigami powers by becoming a hollow...
So I think he might be that same hollow...?
So he IS ichigo's original shinigami powered zanpaktou, but he could still also be that hollow.

What I think happened: White, sent by Aizen, went out looking for a shinigami host. That whole Isshin Kurosaki and Ichigo's mother event happened, but White did something Aizen did not predict; it latched on to a Quincy, hence why Aizen's "henchmen" first though the experiment failed. When Isshin became human/shinigami and surpressed White, White's only escape was through its host's child, Ichigo. "Zangetsu," Ichigo's Quincy power, managed to suppress White (Ichigo's zanpactu and shinigami powers) so White never "woke up" until "Zangetsu" was weak, which is why Ichigo had White's mask on when he became a shinigami again. Between the save-Rukia arc and the Vizards arc, Zangetsu kept White surpressed, except the few times when White made his mask appear on Ichigo to save his life and during the fight with Bakyura (sp?), when White was desperate to survive.

I think what he meant was that if Ichigo got too strong he couldn't stay around humans, cause you remember when Aizen was congratulating Ichigo's friends that they didn't get destroyed just by his aura/spiritual pressure by being so close to him.

I won't say they're "Plot holes" more like "to be continued",
and most main characters of an anime are over powered and/or has too many deus ex machina moments;
eg Naruto, Goku and Yugi Muto just to name a few in a long line of super powered characters, and that's not counting other genres.
It's most likely in their contracts or something, like how Sean Bean dies in every movie he's in O.o
