Trying something for the EVE Online contest...here are some thumbnails!
Some are really crappy and I am not sure if I like one enough to carry it further yet...
Any favourites?

its really hard to tell what these are, but i think i like 4, 15, and 6. Maybe 12, and 8.

mm I agree with you i don't think any of these are particularly strong enough. I think they are all a bit too amorphous even for EVE. people probably go for 4 (and I would too) because it appears to have the most solid design.
I'd say bash out some more shapes :}.
If I had to pick from this sheet, I think I'd say 4 or 16.

i really like 12 and 8, but maybe that is because im identifying known eve factions in them - that said, there are lots of ships that belong to fringe pirate groups that don't adhere to any visual language.

I'd fly any of them, but 8, 13, and 14 stand out to me. 8 would make a good Minmatar or Caldari frig, while 13 or 14 would fit well in the Gallente fleet, probably as cruisers or some sort of mid-weight ship? In any case, the front-heavy designs like 3 and 4 are pretty cool, you don't see many of those I think.
Anyways, these are awesome thumbnails!

5: Would make for an excellent larger ship; not quite largest class, but second from it
6: Great design for a fighter
11: Would make a good first-timers cargo ship
16: Killer larger battleship design
4 gets an honorable mention as a cargo ship; the nose has all kinds of uses. Maybe to house a huge antenna array?
