Description
Trying something for the EVE Online contest...here are some thumbnails!
Some are really crappy and I am not sure if I like one enough to carry it further yet...
Any favourites?

14 has a very nice insect/fish/organic look to it, but I'm not sure that fits EVE. 11 could be made interesting, like a small mining vessel? And 16 and 20 have classic silhouettes, I'm pretty partial to them. I like the juxtaposition of the detailed areas with the flatter areas.

Hey, I really like number 4 for some reason. 14 reminds me of a sort of tropical fish, I can't recall the name.

4, 18 and 20. For the 4th , it's not about the angle it's about the shape, i like it!

For me the best thumbnails are: 4, 6, 8, 15, 16 and 20
What I felt from it:
4: Somehow my favorite, reminds a bit of the old ship Bebop. I'm not sure what or where could it's weapons be, but it looks really awesome anyway. I would bet those 2 things above the engines could hide 2 laser/plasma/ion/whatever kind of energy weapon you can think of. So basically it would be some kind of light stealth frigate, you can use the SR-1 Normandy for example of what I'm thinking of.
6: It definitely has some style, it's like a fast frigate packing lots of firepower that will warp out of nowere ambushing other ships. I would flip the direction of that half-triangle thingy on top of the ship. It would make it look even faster and agressive.
8: It looks slow I have to say, but it also looks like it could block a small moon comming in front of it. I feel like it will shoot salvos of 8 torpedos, while shooting down smaller targets. It's say it's a nice defence/assault frigate defending the main fleet/shooting down smaller ships and frigates.
15 & 16: They look seem to have the same propose, work as carriers and laser barricades. Both sound to be able to sustain alot of damage and shred frigates and corvettes to pieces with hundreds of lasers on it's port and starboard.
20: Now this is what I call "some ship you don't want to see be on the wrong side" It looks like a super mass driver or super Ion cannon. I feel like it have to open itself to shoot the main cannon. I would call it "Cleaner" because there wouldn't be many ships strong enough to survive one attack.

I forgot to mention, most of your thumbnails are too "spiky looking" there are too many edges [7, 11 for example], I'm not saying they are wrong but maybe it would be interesting to study/get inspired on some Macross [the first] designs, which are more "roundish".

I think from a silhouette point of view 2, 4, 5, 14 and possibly 17 are the strongest

When in doubt, is always good to do something that combines the two, maybe hard edged on general, and smooth edges on little details for the outside. Just a humble opinion

I like 4 15 and 16 the most. These designs have big, open, un-detailed shapes which give the eye a good place to rest, as well as smaller shapes full of detail for the eye to enjoy. I think a lot of the others have a consistently high level of detail everywhere and that (to me) is a little less pleasant to look at.
