It looks more like continuous success to me, especially for the effects of her 'diet'.

Her face is rounder than say Asuka's. Even when done in a different style that needs taken into account. Thats a pretty lose shirt a Misato's chest isn't huge so there should probably be more hanging down even accounting for increased mammary volume. Also either her legs should be spread farther out so we see more of her shorts or her belly should be resting on them. Also that purple is to light.
Not trying to be harsh, lord knows its better than my stuff, but these things might help.
