...of arrows.So, Shining Force 2. Fun little game, though I never finished it, but it IS one of *BlackWaltz0 's personal favorites and I did always dig the art style and music.
Plus most of the girls were cute, so hey, why not draw one?
Oh, right, because sometimes they're half horse. Now, as you can see, I have no idea what a horse looks like. That said, here's May the centaur bowman. Quadrapedia aside, she's still pretty cute, so I was obliged to fulfil my darling BW's request for her.

The horse-body looks too thin to me, but that's all that my untrained eye catches. I remember this character being pretty cool.

I would do a formal Critique, but I don't have premium, so this will have to do. For the most part you have the horse drawn well, but I would try fixing her right leg, it seems a bit big. If you wanted to get down to the nitty-gritty, I would, but for the style drawn of her originally, this looks alright. The proportions look OK and the rest of your feet look good (you might also want to check the position of the back left leg (our right) it seem a bit misplaced) I love her expression and the pose, it is so well.... Expressive. I wish I could be that good at getting the human part correctly placed (it sometimes takes me awhile to place it correctly together. Keep it up! (sorry if I went on a rant on the legs, I am a horse/centaur artist so I hope I helped)

i remember this game had way to much fun with it although was may really in shining force 2. i know there was a may in the first shining force game

I always thought it was kinda funny that there was another female centaur named May in Shining Force 1. They were both blonds too.

Sorry for the triple comment. This mouse I have is a gaming mouse that has a triple-click feature that seems to be turning on and off randomly.

I'll show this to my brother. He's fanatical about this game! I bought him the Genesis cartridge and not only did he finish it on Ouch! difficulty without any problems, but he did the battle after the credits, too!
This is a really nice piece, but the only thing that strikes me as off, (and you're going to tease me about this), is that the horse body seems a bit thin.

I kinda noticed the thin body as well, but in official arts she's significantly smaller and thinner compared to the other centaur characters in the game. For a while I though she was half deer or something instead of a horse.
I would say that her legs in Hidon's art are a little too thick in comparison to the body, though.

There is just not enough quality Shining Force art out there. Phantasy Star has like ten times as much fan attention, and that's not fair. So thank you for drawing this for me.
