A quick picture I did in memory of Takeshi Shudo, head writer of the Pokemon Anime during it's prime.I actually cried, the Pokemon anime has been a huge influence for me as an artist, specially the OS (though I see it as inferior now to it's succesors).

I also was so sad when Shudo died. His writing got me into Pokemon in first place.

You know, maybe that's why they took Brock (Takeshi in jp.) out of the anime, in honor of his memory. I'm just saying.

I know exactly how you feel...I wanted to cry, but I just couldn't ;A; I was too shocked...but I do still have Kanto and Orange Islands on DVD...some of Johto...and the first 3 movies...so I know for sure I'll never forget him, and I can go back and watch the old episodes at any time; knowing that helps me feel better..
His legacy will live in infamy as being one of the major influences of an entire generation. May he rest in peace.

I just realized he died...I was soo upset i couldnt even take it in it was like everything stopped for a second i was in denial and now i feel like pokemon not gonna go back to the way it use to be.. Ik im being corny and bleh but I rlly was hoping for that! He never even saw how it ends its not fair!

The original 151 were the best, and the next 100 (or 150? Whatever, the second set) weren't bad. But now the 500 (or 600? 750? who cares at this point) are too much.

Excuse me, but I think you've got it all wrong. 4Kids may butcher other anime series, but in my opinion, they did an EXCELLENT job dubbing Pokemon.

i'm not complaining about the dubbing of pokemon, in fact i liked Ash's voice in the original series until those gits changed it, but my point is that 4kids makes edits that are completly unneeded. I mean seriously, if the Japanese are okay with it, then America should be okay with it too.
